Twenty years ago, Throne of Anguish was created with the fantastic adolescent naivete that can only be harnessed by the zeal of the young. This demo has never been committed to a tape release until now. Coming soon in limited tape release.

Here now is Throne of Anguish, the tale of a vampire, drunk with lust and power - king of the night, yet haunted and crippled by the knowledge that he killed the only woman he loved in a fit of insurmountable bloodthirst. This is the story of his falling, his chagrin, and the vengeance wrought upon the one who turned him, his friend and mentor. It is a gothic tragic romance wrapped in the trappings of black, thrash, and doom metal.

PRODUCTION NOTES:

Throne of Anguish was recorded on a BOSS BR-8, using 100mb zip disks. The drums were using a Nady 4 pack of drum mics, but one of them did not work, therefore, only 3 mics were used for the drums. The guitars were a BC Rich Warlock, and Zoom 505; the acoustic was a 12 string Tacoma acoustic guitar borrowed from the music store where Thygjaård was employed (the guitar was borrowed with the owner's permission!). The keyboard was a Yamaha YT10 (I think... it has been a long time), using the headphone jack as an output. No click track was employed during the making of this album, due to technical difficulties, and yet, the band pressed on. NEVER BACK DOWN, NEVER GIVE IN.
