The blasted expanse of the ruined world unfolds unto the horizon, with a titanic mountain rising skyward in the distance. A halo of debris crowns the shattered sky, a gnarled corona anointing the dry soil beneath - the ruined starline falls beneath the celestial crown upon the shoulders of the dead world below. Questions are past, and the Knowledge of When and Why are lost. History is eroded, calcified into myth and unto legend - there is nothing; naught but to continue this Final Sojourn, toward the resolute centurion of mountain rising into the distance, and as those steps lengthen and draw inexorably closer, the celestial crown of orbital ruin does rest upon the brow of a mountain colossus.

The Titan Gate is the next tale linked to the Obsidian Relic. A Harrowed world, prone and husked - lifeless. One distant mountain looms in the horizon, as colossal debris of stone and metal orbit the sky. It is an ancient mountain, of a kingdom risen and now dead, of kings and men lofty and now gone; of worship and power now reduced to empty husks of ruin bowed forever into supplication.

It is a palace and a tomb, fashioned for giants, worshipped by lesser, and yet there is a spark of transient life. A battered relic from times forgotten signals a beacon upon the peak, and gigantic blue torrent of balefire issues mightily into the void above, toward the horrifyingly immense hulk in the heavens. There is nothing, only the solitary journey toward the mountain and the Vacant Throne.

Field recordings combine with drones and textures to create an aural vision of ruined landscapes, mysterious discoveries, and cosmic dread.

Recommended for fans of cinematic dark ambience, sci-fi cosmic horror, and ominous, cold drones.
