These are times threatened by warfare; of coming battles fierce. While the kingdoms driven by the furor for power and greed argue and ally amongst themselves, there are those who travel the lands in search of adventure, mystery, magick, and musick.

Ancient tales speak of a lost tome, the Legendarium, which details the past, and tells of the formation of the Kingdoms and even the realms. The book tells of Ancient Magicks, the formation of the dark star, and the first signs of the Corruption - the evil that begat the Riven - but more importantly, passages in the Book are said to foretell the signs of the One - the coming of the one who will drive the Blight forever from the land. Long have whispers of this hero been told, of He who will appear as a mighty warrior, wielding a sword fashioned from the very stars, themselves; He, who will battle the Blight - and himself - and the very sky will tear with the quickening of his blows...

She journeys the lands, a wandering soul - Aria, the Bard, as she has become named. While not as dire and mysterious as the Legends of which she seeks, hers is a story begun in struggle and hardship, and yet carries the lyrical melody of hope and determination. Hers is a journey to collect the Ancient Tales, to piece together the Song, the Legendaria, whose true purpose and power is forgotten to mankind. Through moor and mountain, river and vale she journeys, her constant companions her lute, and her wolfen friend, Sevrin, as Aria searches for the Legendaria, in hopes to help heal the Blighted lands as the growing darkness threatens to engulf the kingdoms into war, sickness, and death.

I picked up the whole serpent sword discography and while there are quite a few amazing albums, the two by Elder Goblin are my fav. EG is the master of tone riding somewhere between crisp digital and blown out lo-fi. Genuinely impressive work. Can’t wait for new releases Big Big Jambo
