The critically-acclaimed sophomore split between two titans in black metal and epic dungeon synth, Erythrite Throne and Seregost. Eight tracks of malevolent synaesthesia; a brooding miasma of colossal soundscapes, with a monumental finale track that is continuing to command attention, letting people know just who and what these two projects are, and what their composers are capable of accomplishing.
FROM THE ALBUM LINER NOTES:
"Their course was set, and the portal opened before them, a gash cleaving reality, ethereal winds buffeting the ruins of the once holy ground. The sacrilegious ritual was complete, performed as the decrepit wytch instructed them, and two scions stepped through the portal, with glittering spires of Celestial Kingdoms standing resolute beyond the Astral Ways. A war was coming, heralded by two darkened oracles, who would bring about the reign of one who would be crowned in black iron, and enthroned in erythrite..."

SEREGOST NOTE
Some things just work well together, you know? Some things just feel right. This is how I feel working with Erythrite Throne. The ethereal mysticism and hypnotic melodies help establish an eerie presence, at which point my imagination is shifted into overdrive; perhaps it is the serpentine caress of the music within Erythrite Throne that causes me to unleash my darkened barbarism? Rather than crash headlong into the fray, blast beats and black metal screaming the vanguard, it would seem that joining Erythrite Throne helps temper my initial brash ideals, and allows me to carefully, more methodically approach my muse. These songs are a symbiosis - an ouroboros of kinetic imagination and creativity manifested into musical threads, a tapestry of unfettered creativity. I never would have thought to be doing another album with one of my biggest inspirations in the music scene, and what has now developed into a lasting friendship. It would seem that what began as an unassuming musical partnership has wrought something far greater than either of us could have imagined. I cannot wait to see what more emerges between our imaginations.
ERYTHRITE NOTE
It's always an absolute honour to work with Seregost, the hard work he puts into his music can be heard and it can be felt. Pure dark energy, it's beyond beautiful. He has quickly become one of my favourite artists in dungeon synth as well as a close friend. I'm happy to present this second split from us, we both put a lot into this and I really hope it can be felt when listening. There will be a lot more to come from both of us in the future, I'm really looking forward to continue creating this universe with an amazingly talented artist and a great friend.
